Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the best First Person Shooter ever. Period. No arguments. My XBox live time is split between this game - released in 2007 - and GRID which was released late last year. Admittedly, without the online play I would have traded it in a while back!

Absolutely agree on COD4. I played through Halo 3 and was mildy dissapointed after playing COD4. Having said that I bought the original Halo for $8 and I'm enjoying it much more... the level design is far better than Halo 3.
Of course since I'm down here in Wgtn I have no home internet connection, but I'm very much looking forward to getting home to play on Live. Even just single play COD4 rocks... it is the Dark Knight to Halo 3's Batman & Robin.
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor multiple times in the campaign... Sarah got sick of "Come and look at this!"... it reminded me of being 10 and playing Warcraft 2... same kinda awe.
