You Stepped Down Into Darkness

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. –Genesis 1:1-2

Darkness isn’t anything. Darkness is defined by light. God stepped down into the darkness and created our world. He bought light to our lives. But he can only bring light to those that welcome it.
